Stories waiting to be written
Winter Writing Workshop

15th November, 10am-1pm at Fisherton Mill Gallery and Cafe, Salisbury
Winter is a season of stillness and reflection. For writers, this is the ideal time to embark on new creative ventures and dive projects abandoned during the busier months.

In this workshop, we will be exploring ways to write about nature, using natural objects, descriptive extracts, artwork and more to stimulate your imagination. Through a series of focused exercises and prompts, you will learn how to engage your senses and capture the magic of the winter season.

Writing about nature is a time-old tradition. While we won’t be venturing outside for this workshop, we will bring the magic of nature indoors. Creativity, in all its forms, is wonderfully therapeutic and across the two hours, you will be taught how to draw upon your personal connection with, and experience of, the natural world.
Who is the workshop for?

Whether you are new to writing, an aspiring author, or simply someone looking to connect with your creativity, boost your confidence and achieve a higher sense of wellbeing, all are welcome. This is the perfect opportunity to enhance your imaginative skills in a supportive environment. Don't miss out on this opportunity to kickstart your writing journey this winter!
